What’s better than one homegrown star linebacker? TWO
homegrown star linebackers.
This
fall, Arizona State fans will get to see something special. For the
last few seasons, Kyle Soelle has emerged as one of the more
productive and unsung linebackers in the Pac-12. And this season,
he will likely be joined in the starting lineup by his younger
brother Connor. Their love of ASU began as kids, with goals set to
one day become one of the Sun Devils they watched play. That
mission was accomplished when Connor joined Kyle at ASU in 2019,
and now as Kyle gears up for a final season in Tempe, he’ll get to
play alongside his brother—who’s poised for a breakout of his
own.

discuss what it means to play alongside each other for their
hometown university, the pride they carry with them as homegrown
players, how deep their brotherly competitive streak runs, what to
