Jaxon Hood burst onto the scene as a heralded freshman All-American, and a hometown hero in the making. Less than two years later, he was gone.
Now sober, he opens up about his painful, costly, and nearly fatal battle with painkiller addiction. He also shares his life-saving revelation, and how he now hopes his struggles can help others battling the demon of addiction.
